Summer 2012

waterslide Summer Camp offers a variety of fun and fantastic opportunities for campers in grades 1-12. Programs are hosted at four different sites (El Camino Pines, Yolijwa and two Beach Camp locations). We also offer a Day Camp Program where we bring camp to your church or school. All of our camps are week-long experiences that include games, crafts, swimming, campfire, Bible studies, worship, hiking and more. You will find everything you need to plan for summer camp here.

This year's theme Facing Giants is based off the story of David. David led a remarkable life of faith and we can learn so much from him. David gives all of us an example in how to follow God, how to overcome challenges in life and how God is with us in those times of trouble, how to live in community and love our neighbors as ourselves, how to lead, and how to praise God.

When registering for camp please use the camper's grade level in the Fall of 2012 to determine grade level. For all registrations - A $100 non-refundable deposit is due when you register for summer camp. There is also a $25 registration fee. Registration is online or download the Registration Form.

Explorers, Pioneers, and Discoverers - Cost: $365, mini week is $275
Our most popular programs, caring counselors make this a week of fun, friends, faith stories and so much more. A week at camp is great place to make new friends, to learn about yourself and God’s beautiful creation. Favorite camp activities include theme meals, overnight campout, all camp games, the pool, arts and crafts and campfires.

Confirmation Camp - Cost: $365
Christian community comes alive at Confirmation camp! Pastors, youth workers, camp staff and Confirmands come together for a week of study and goofing around in the great outdoors. The most fun you'll ever have with your pastor guaranteed! To attend this event you need to come with your church. Check with your pastor on how to register.

Teen Camp (campers currently in grades 9 - 12) - Cost: $365,
No summer is complete without a week at camp in the mountains! Lively Bible studies, in-depth discussions on life and faith, meaningful worship, the annual tug owar over a mud pit, overnight hike, day trip to a water park and so much more!

Beach Camp (campers currently in grades 6 - 12) - Cost: $415
The sun, the surf and the sand. You get it all at Beach Camp. Sleep at a local church, walk to the beach daily, hang out on the turf or in the surf and have all of the traditional camp stuff (campfires, worship, Bible Studies, silly songs and great camp food.

Staff in Training (SIT) (ages 16 and 17) - Cost: $250
Staff In Training is an exciting camp leadership program designed for 16 and 17 year olds who want to learn the ins and outs of working at camp. SITs will learn how to work alongside counselors and cabin groups and how to lead camp activities like Bible study, worship, and all-camp games. This program is for four weeks long and by application and interview only.

Day Camp (campers in Kindergarten - 6th grade) - Cost: $89/camper
We bring summer camp to your church. Our Day Camp program is designed to meet the needs of all sizes of congregations. Our staff can put together a week of Vacation Bible School or can provide additional summer programming in order to enhance your current ministries. Day Camp can be a way to reach into your congregation and out to your community. You pick the date, do the publicity and we do the rest!
