Health Form: During the registration process you will answer some basic health questions about your camper.  This is NOT the complete health form that we need to have on file. We are required to have a current health form on file every year that your child attends camp. The health form needs to be filled out and signed by a doctor.  The camper must have had a physical examination within the past two years. Please allow time to get your child an appt. with his/her doctor for a physical if this is not current.  The completed health form should be sent or faxed to the camp your child will be attending, NOT the administrative office. If your child is attending Beach Camp or the Mystery Trip, send or fax the forms to Yolijwa. If your child is registering for the WSYG, The LRCC Experience, send or fax the forms to El Camino Pines. Please see the back of this brochure or our website for camp addresses and Fax #’s.

Staff In Training (SIT) Program, (Campers currently in grades 10-12), Cost: Free, 4 week commitment required
June 29 – July 25

The S.I.T. Program is a four week leadership training program.  The youth in the program will be trained as leaders in many areas of camp responsibility and experience many different aspects of our programs, which will include time at Yolijwa, El Camino Pines, one of our Beach Camp sites and possibly our Day Camp programs.  Youth will work with a counselor and cabin group, and fully participate in all camp activities. SITs learn every aspect of camp, from the dish room to leading a Bible Study. Each SIT will be trained in CPR and First Aid, kitchen and maintenance and they will have the option of learning skills like lifeguarding, guitar, archery, or wall climb.  SIT's will spend the 4 weeks together and as their training progresses their responsibilities will increase so that at the end of the program they will be living in cabins with campers serving as junior counselors alongside our staff.

Upon successful completion of the program, SIT’s may be invited to serve as Peer Leaders at other camp programs including Teen Camp (Aug. 3-8). This program is free to high school youth and is by application and interview only.  S.I.T.’s are not a paid staff position.  Download a Staff In Training application here.  2 references are needed as well, download it here.  Space is limited so apply early.
